The Community Action Task Force
Who We Are
We are the Community Action Task Force (CATF)—a coalition of residents, advocates, and health care institustions committed to transforming North Hartford into a model for health equity and sustainable community development. As the civic backbone of the Healthy Hartford Hub, we amplify resident voices to ensure meaningful change.
What We Do
We drive systems change by organizing residents, aligning stakeholders, and advocating for policies and projects that improve food access, economic opportunity, and health outcomes in the North Hartford Promise Zone.
How We Do It
By building healthier communities together. Through strategic collaboration, grassroots organizing, and community-informed research, we work alongside anchor institutions, policymakers, and local organizations.
Why We Do It
We believe that sustainable, community-led solutions emerge when residents are at the forefront. Our collective action fosters resilience, leadership, and a healthier future for all who call North Hartford home.
